Fire and IceSTORY / GAMEPLAY
You control a cute coyote named Cool on a quest to go through eight worlds in pursuit of the evil wizard Suten. In each level you collect fragments of a key that will grant you access to the next part. Those fragments can be obtained by killing other creatures that swarm the area. You can attack a creature by shooting ice pellets at it and freeze it. Note that this causes no actual damage and the freezing state will stop after a while so you must kill it when it's still frozen. There are also some hidden warp gates that can transport you to other lands and possibly hidden bonus zones. The game is a good looking but hard jump and run platform with pretty sensitive controls! You'll need quite some skill to get Coyote where you want since the ice world platforms are very slippery.

GRAPHICS / SOUND
The Amiga 1200 and CD32 versions display 240+ colors on-screen (in contrast to the EHB 64 of the Amiga OCS/ECS). The AGA version graphics are far more detailed on the foreground and background than the OCS version but all this added detail can easily confuse the player. The Amiga 1200 version has identical sound to the Amiga 500 with a great intro music, some nice sound effects and great in-game music! On the other hand, the Amiga CD32 version has CD-quality soundtracks.

A wonderful arcade! Excellent gfx and sound. A bit difficult to play though. I never did it to the end!
